Standoff
I rescued Cinnamon (top) and his three siblings when I was living in Coalinga. He lives with my friend Maia and is definitely the king of the realm. Monkey Blue (bottom) and I have been living here for three months. There is another cat here, GiGi, who is about eight months old. Both Cinnamon and Monkey are in love with her.
It would be an understatement to call it a rivalry. She has them both wrapped around her tiny claw. Cinnamon came into the tower the other day, unbeknownst to me, and when I went upstairs to the bedroom area, I encountered this tableau.
Poor Monkey. Cinnamon is much bigger that Monkey and his is a hunter, as well. Monkey is just a lover, a sweetie. Cinnamon came over to intimidate him. At least, Cinnamon wasn’t attacking Monkey.
Gigi is an angel-faced little fur-ball, but she is a true femme-fatale.

Wherefore Art Thou?
Monkey Blue has company every day now. Gigi (I call her Boo-boo) comes over, eats his food, plays hard to get. They play chase and sometimes take naps. It is true love. I’m going to have to bring Monkey over for playdates once I move back to the studio.
