I shot the kitty Gigi on the entry way pergola amid the wisteria the other day. It was quite a wonderful shot in color and the look on her face priceless. It seemed like a good candidate for a visitation from the Sun King. After that I pulled the image into the PS Camera, which is a strange app with some interesting filters, but it also does a lot of inserting images into the picture. I normally eschew the use of such filters, but, on whim, I clicked on the “Mythos” filter, which turned the picture black and white and also gave me the option of putting King Kong, or the Kraken, or the Mummy behind the house. I couldn’t resist. I did a few other clean-up tasks on the picture and boosted the contrast and voila! I love it.
All done solely on the iPhone, as usual.
